Classes at Rae's Yarn Boutique

We love teaching classes here at Rae's Yarn Boutique.

Classes are offered all year round & on weekdays and weekends to help fit your schedule.

It's easy to sign up for a class. Just stop by the shop, give us a call, or send an email to get your name on the list. But remember to sign up early! Classes can fill up quickly.

Knitting Study Hall is our drop in learn to knit & beyond learn to knit lessons.

We really appriciate if you purchase your class supplies at the shop, it helps us be able to continue to bring in great teachers for our customers.

An Afternoon with Louisa Harding!
June 13th Friday 3:30-7:30
$45 includes class and materials
Louisa Harding, longtime favorite designer for Rowan yarns and the Miss Bea Books, and current creative force behind her own fantastic line of yarns will be coming to town to teach a 3 hour workshop & book signing event. We’ll play with combinations of her yarns & leave with a small project. Spaces are very limited, please call or email us for more information and to reserve your space.

World Wide Knit in Public Day
June 14th Saturday 11:00-at least 2:00
Celebrate World Wide Knit in Public Day with a Picnic in the park, sponsored by Rae’s Yarn Boutique and Woven Art. Let’s meet at 11 a.m. at Patriarche Park in East Lansing. We’ll have the shelter until 2 p.m., but we can stay and play all afternoon. Please bring whatever you would like to grill, and/or a dish to pass. We will bring soft beverages. To help with organizing, please call either Nancy (Woven Art) at 517-203-4467, or Rae (Yarn Boutique) at 336-9276 to let us know you are coming.

Stitch n’ Pitch with the Lansing Lugnuts

Stitch N' Pitch brings together two wonderful traditions — Baseball and the NeedleArts. Join Rae’s Yarn Boutique and Woven Art for a day at the ballpark. Tickets will include a seat for the game, a stylish baseball style shirt, and a goodie bag. We will be taking preorders soon for the game.
